A Deck Built to Wow!

The deck that A&L Construction Services just built for my wife and me is beautiful. His experienced team completed the work on schedule and to our satisfaction.

Pete Adley is personable and professional. His proposal was detailed and the most reasonable of the four that we considered. His proposal included proof of his contractor’s license and his insurance.

His foreman supervised the work throughout the project; Pete himself would come by daily as well.

Our deck would not look out of place even if it were connected to a mansion. It looks sturdy enough to last for decades. The diagonal deck board pattern is pleasing, and shows Pete’s eye for design.

Pete also has an eye for detail. During his final inspection, he personally had some extra bolts added for reasons of strength and aesthetics.

Pete’s work exceeded our expectations. His company gets an A+.

Extremely Happy

It was not the biggest job in history, but the new stoop he put in for me was everything we wanted. He listened, showed up when he said he would, and most of all we felt he was staying on top of the project. Good crews, that did their jobs well. Kept to budget, kept to time estimates, and the work was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Another contractor quoted $150 under Pete's estimate, but could not produce proof of liability/worker's comp insurance; Pete enclosed his proof of insurance with his initial quote.

Pete is the best

A&L Construction Services has just finished a great job of refinishing the complete interior of my home. Two complete new bathrooms, tile flooring for the complete house and new paint for everything. I now feel as though I am in someone elses house.

Difficult Foundation Repair - Done With Care

Pete Adley of A&L Construction Services, came out personally directed the demolition, design modification, and rebuilding of a section of my foundation footings and foundation walls (where I had some very serious problems). He quoted the job in advance using a professional manner, completed the job at the contracted price, cleaned up well, & completed all work in a very reasonable amount of time. I feel that his company did a great job on my foundation rebuild and turns out very high quality work. Pete Adley's company also provided on site supervision throughout the process of repairing my foundation over several days.

Prior to having him do this work, I went and visited a few new homes his company had recently built in the vicinity of my home and it was easy to see the craftmanship and quality that he appears to build into all his products. This work for me was done in the spring of 2009. They did a great job .. I would highly recommend Pete and his company.

Master Bath Remodel

Our home is about 17 years old. We wanted to do a total remodel of our dated master bath so we interviewed some contractors from Kudzu.com. One of the contractors was Pete Adley. We are so glad we chose him. The bathroom is now finished and it is gorgeous. All of the work was done to perfection. Pete and his company were professional, easy to work with, and kept us constantly updated. Delivers more than promised

A&L Construction Services recently coverted our basement into a Mother-In-Law suite remodeling around 1,200 sq. ft. From the start, Mr. Adley was extremely personable and professional. The overall quality to cost was great. Like any renovation, there where a couple of changes on our part a couple of things that did not go according to plan but, Mr. Adley handled every situation proptly and more than satisfactory. I can't say enough good things about his work force and especially his project manager. If you are looking for an honest hard working contractor, look no further.

Excellent

Before Pete came to my home, I had 2 other contractors looking at finishing my basement. One did not provide a complete service (flooring and media hookup are not included) and the other was trying to do their idea of basement instead of ours. But Pete did spend time walking through with us and listened what we want to do. And because Pete provided complete services, I choose him instead. And my decision was a good one. Not Pete did an excellent job turning our idea into reality, he did it under budget and early (1 week before schedule). And he was there throughout the process and correct any issues that came up. I would truly recommend if anyone decided to remodel your home.

Excellent Quality - Very Dependable

After our home was destroyed by fire, we contracted with A&L Construction Services to do a complete turn-key project for us. Pete Adley started with the demolition of what was left of the house and all the debris, clearing the lot completely including foundation and driveway, and then on with the construction of a new home. This was completed in 10 months - from the day of the fire to the day we moved into the new home. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Throughout the whole process, we found Pete to be an exceptional person to work with – very dependable, and someone you could trust. We would highly recommend him for any construction project.
